Carter the Artist

If you look closely you can see the previous work of Clay in Yellow! It's by the A.

Carter has been experimenting with different artistic techniques. First is white acrylic paint used on the side of my beautiful leather couch. Second is red marker(no, not a washable crayola) on the front of his bedroom dresser. He was so proud of this piece. He said "I got tic, tac, toe three in a row". Then " I made a good A, and T and O". Yes, they are good letters Carter, but on PAPER! Oh, the canvases that 3 year olds create!

The face on the top drawer is a monkey. The second face is Teagan, but he said he didn't finish it yet.

Hey, I bet Michaelangelo's mom let him do masterpieces on his bedroom furniture. How do you think he got the idea to do the ceiling? He had already "been there done that" on every other household surface!

So this will be funny when he's selling his first masterpiece for a gazillion dollars in a snappy art gallery in Napa someday.

Oh! Teagan looks just like the monkey! Shhhh. Don't tell Carter I said that.

Carter surprises me! I didn't know he knew how to play tic tac toe! What a simply CREATIVE little guy. Spoken like a true grandma! Who doesn't have to clean it up.

It can't be that bad since you grabbed the camera instead of the wooden spoon, right? The youngest always get away with so much. haha I want his autograph!

Unreal. I don't know if I would laugh or call 911 to take him before you hurt him

Oh my gosh, were you so pissed off? I'm pretty sure I would have lost it! The marker isn't so bad, but the paint on your nice couches, man!

OH NO!!! Were you able to get any of it off? BLESS, we've had a few instances with sharpies, but the writing was on the walls and came off with Mr Clean wipes! Might be worth a try!!! I'd think I'd flip out more about that than the flooding that just took place in my basement!

LOVED IT. Leave it to your kids to keep us all smiling/laughing. You're such a good sport to share the wealth and let us all realize we're not alone...and what's to come. :)
